Abstract: Curricular changes in secondary school subjects are made periodically in accordance with: trends in international and national curricular development; ith the needs of adapting the disciplinary curriculum to the expectations of the society, the needs of the students, but also to the traditions of the national school; with the needs of ensuring the continuity and interconnection between the levels and cycles of general education: early education, primary education, secondary education and high school education. In this context, Informatics as a school subject has the highest pace of development, and teacher computer science skills must keep pace with this evolution, developing to meet the educational needs of students, because initial training is not enough in the context of changes curricula occurred in 2019. Thus, the professionalization of the computer science teacher is the way to increase the educational quality to the standards imposed by the changes in society. The article makes an analysis of the concept of professionalization and the need to form computer science teaching cards in the context of new content, included in the curriculum ed. 2019.
