Abstract: The interaction between the phases of composite materials is particularly important in terms of obtaining a high-quality product. Knowing the reactions that take place between the component substances allows a correct modeling of the material and the creation of new properties. This article describes the action of phases inside of a composite material and how they influence the characteristics of the product. Likewise, there are presented the manufacturing methods of the composites, depending on the reactions that take place between the components. Finally, since there is mentioned a "product", in this article are presented also the areas of use of composites.
