| Abstract: | The author discusses the problem of psychological and educational assistance to families of children with developmental disabilities. There are defined the functions of this family, and the problems faced by families raising a disabled child. There are characterized the types of wrong upbringing, the causes of this phenomenon. In addition, the author describesthe following models of these families’ assistance: pedagogical, diagnostic, social, medical and psychological. |
