Abstract: The development process of children with disabilities is similar to that of children without disabilities. However, for any disability there are some specific developmental disorders. Psychological assistance should ensure optimal conditions for educating and training children, directing the action of compensatory mechanisms of the affected organism. The purpose of psychological assistance is the development of personal and intellectual potential.
