Abstract

The project ”Library Network Support Services” (LNSS): modernizing libraries in Armenia, Moldova and Belarus through library staff development and reforming library services (LNSS) has a great impact on the professional training of librarians and the strengthening of institutional capacities. The article refers to the need to develop the Collection Development Policy (PDC) in each library, the importance of this document, the international and national acts on which it is based. Brief information on the training on the development of the PDC, promoted in the USARB Scientific Library, is presented.
