Abstract: | The latest statistical data provided show that behavioral deviance is currently popularized, especially among preadolescents, so it is considered necessary to identify the psycho-social factors that influence deviant behavior in preadolescents. This article contains theoretical information on the specificity of the deviant behavior, its etiology, typology and description of the psycho-social causes of the deviant behavior in the preadolescents, not least the particularities of the preadolescent age. Also, results of experimental research that integrate with theoretical research can be found. Thus, deviant behavior can be associated with low self confidence, high levels of anxiety and hostility. The results of the research have been gathered following the self-confidence test (Romek V.G.), the Anxiety Scale (J.Taylor, 1953), the Inventory of Hostility (Durkee, 1957, reviewed 2010), highlighting psychological factors. Among the social factors that have been identified through the Psychosocial Assessment and Conduct Demonstration Questionnaire are the influence of the antisocial group and the origin of the disorganized family. Interpreting the results of the research highlights the relationship between the psychological and social factors that influence the behavioral deviant in preadolescents. |
