Abstract: At present, the appeal proceedings are governed by Section 3 of the Civil Procedure Code of the Republic of Moldova “Ways of appealing court decisions”, and in chapter 37, provisions on appellate proceedings are expressed. The appellate instance is an independent stage of civil proceedings, which has specific tasks that affect the operation of some principles of civil procedural law and determine the specifics of the cases, the powers of the appellate instance, the grounds for cancellation of decisions of the court of first instance and the content of the rulings.
