Abstract: This article describes the possibilities of using the figurative expressions in French as a Foreign Language. The theoretical sense treats the „expression” as a linguistic, sociolinguistic and pragmatic element. The practical side brings out the types of activities conceived according to the figurative expressions which can be used.
