Abstract

The investigation reflects the theoretic-applicative study regarding the marital conflict as a factor of the instability of the marital couple. The marital conflict is imminent in the existence of any marital couple, having a dynamogenic and cathartic value. Essential for maintaining the stability of the couple being the ability to handle such situations. Partners who can not only speak in a direct and open manner in the first phase of its emergence, but also possess the conflict management skills will not accumulate unresolved problems and resentments. The experimental research of marital conflict, areas of agreement and disagreement in marriage and the degree of unhappiness attached to this conflict, as well as marital instability and especially the tendency for divorce of marital couples, are of interest.
