| Abstract: | This article is an attempt to demonstrate that language bearers possess certain cultural information that is common for all the native speakers of the linguacultural community, this fact makes it possible to carry out a linguacultural analysis of phraseological units. To this end, we will identify socio-cultural phenomena that gave rise to idiomatic phraseological units and to analyse the way in which this cultural information is reflected in the structure of the phraseological meaning. |
