The paper discusses the issue of syntax changes at the level of simple sentences, due to the influence of the aesthetics of postmodernism. The reasons for such modifications are revealed: the increased influence of the spoken language, fragmentation, expressiveness of structures. Their reflection in the language of postmodern prose, namely in syntactic structures, is investigated. As a material for the analysis we have chosen V. Pelevin’s artistic texts. It is concluded that the noted changes at the level of simple sentences reflect the general analytical vector of the development of the syntactic structure of the Russian language.en
