Abstract

In conditions of economy based on knowledge, the transition from the industrial society to the innovative one, the university education system is one of the main subsystems of the social-economic structure of the state. The role of higher education i n this process of moving towards an innovation-based economy is very important. The development of higher education institutions is one of the important factors contributing to sustainable economic growth of society and increasing the competitiveness of the national economy.
