| Abstract: | The paper describes the particularities of the analytical description of the articles from periodicals and collections in the Catalog of the ALEPH library software, recently implemented in 7 university libraries in the Republic of Moldova. The importance of cataloging articles is very high through their informative potential, the publishing efficiency and the degree of novelty. The description of articles in the Shared Catalog extends the catalog's information capability and capitalizes library collections by adding new information. |
