dc.description.abstractThere was studied the level of invasion of birds (chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea-fowls, doves) were infested with 18 species of biting lice, 2 species of fleas, 2 species of gamasid mites. The extensivity of invasion by ectoparasites in chickens was correlated with the type of their maintenance technology varying from 49% to 100%. The mass invasion by ectoparasites was registered in spring (March-May) followed by consecutive recession of its level in summer mew period.en
