| Abstract: | Compound nominal predicate in Romanian and Russian represents a structure formed of a link verb and a predicative. The link verb that forms the compound nominal predicate expresses modal meanings. The predicative can be expressed by parts of speech such as noun, adjective, numeral etc. and compound structures such as phraseological units. |
