| Abstract: | The paper is based on the description and comparison of the Russian and Polish national perception of the image of the world, using the examples from phraseologie. The analysis of the phraseology-semantics allows depicting the specific features of the perception of the world by the Polish and the Russian nations. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the animalistic phrazeological components as metaphor-rical nominations of human’s character traits expressing the national mentality. |
