Abstract: Factoring is a technique of financing by which uninsured, not-matured claims are bought-off and a discount is calculated. The claims are identified on the basis of commercial documents. The Bank as the factor retains the right of refund from the seller of the claims, if the main debtor fails to pay upon maturity. The target-users of the product of factoring are exclusively the clients of the Bank, particularly those running business with the renowned foreign companies. In factoring business, the bank, i.e. the factor, buys-off from the exporter his claims from abroad at a certain interest rate increased by the lower amount of the risk premium and by the amount of fee for other probable services of the factor and it furthermore bears a risk of collection of the subject claims.
