Abstract

The article puts into question how the university library as an integral and essential structure's institutions of higher learning can influence the position of University ranked university in the world, especially in Ranking Web of Universities (Webometrics). The quality content of Scienific Library website is evaluated through a virtual analysis counting all the external links on the web of the University Library receives from third parties.These external links reflect the reputation of the university, library, academic performance, value and usefulness of the information functions and utility services provided in web pages, according to the criteria millions of web publishers worldwide. Citation data based on external links are obtained from two of the most important sources of information: Majestic SEO and Ahrefs. Through such activities University Library has consolidated its position in the world rankings, proving its value and prompting the relevance in society.
