Due to the implementation of the modernized curriculum in the pre-higher education in the Republic of Moldova, the interest in the competence concept was reiterated. Communication is dedicated to the analysis of the evolution of curriculum concept and to the main principles of this concept. The notion of curriculum organizing framework was introduced. The following organizing frameworks were analyzed: contents, objectives, competences. Because the competence notion is under the process of clarification, there are being analyzed more variants of introducing the competence in the curriculum: by terminal objectives, by resources and their integration, by situations.en
