Abstract: Advantage of problem lecture in comparison with other forms is considered. Problem lecture contains greater reserves of increase efficiency of lectures, cauterization of cogitative activity of students during mastering a teaching material, formations at the future experts of ability independently to solve those or other creative and practical problems. Necessity of problem lecture follows from importance of actual problems.
