Abstract

Small and medium enterprises play an important role in the economy of our county, which determines to study in details the results achieved by them, as a rapid increase of their number has been lately observed. The respective sector of national economy can make a substantial contribution to the Gross Domestic Product, enhance employment opportunities and stimulate export growth. In conditions of a market with a strong competition small and medium enterprises are able to react flexibly and to adopt themselves quickly to cyclic and structural economic changes. From this point of view a well-developed sector of small and medium enterprises can contribute to stability strengthening and macroeconomic growth in the country.
