| Abstract: | The article is about the university library collections of rare books in Balti which is a very valuable documentary resource. Special collection holds over 5700 documents: Romanian rare and old books, foreign books, musical scores, periodicals of the nineteenth century and early twentieth century in nearly all areas of human knowledge and creation of the world in different languages.
