| Abstract: | The article touches upon the notion of competence which begins to dominate the literature of speciality devoted to the formation of specialists. The genesis of the notion of competence is tracked in linguistics, psychology, labour world and in the field of education. The analysis of the notion in the enumerated fields allows the author to suggest an original definition of competence as a dynamic structure, which organizes the person’s activity. |
