The article focuses on thermodynamic analysis of probability of dealkalization of sodium silicate glasses by acid gases. The list of the most probable chemical reactions between sodium oxide and acid gases has been drawn up. Graphics of Gibbs energy changes depending on the temperature of chemical reactions between sodium oxide and gaseous reagents have been obtained. From the thermodynamic position, there have been determined gaseous reagents for the most effective dealkalization of sodium silicate glasses.en
