dc.description.abstractThis paper presents the research results on "Z" type structures for the upper beam F1 ionosphere layer. "Z" type structures were mainly observed in the morning and evening hours. It is hypothesized that the structures of type "Z" are generated during the terminator passage. It is shown that frequency variations for "Z" type structures can be as high as ~ 2,5 MHz.en_US
